Project Overview
Astra Insurance upgraded their national headquarters training and strategic presentation facilities. The project required dependable speech intelligibility for training cohorts of up to 120 attendees, alongside crystal-clear video streaming to regional branches.
The Challenge
The large training hall possessed high ambient air conditioning noise and multiple reflective glass and plaster surfaces that resulted in smudged consonant articulation during speech.
The Solution
Early Sound and Audio performed comprehensive baseline acoustic measurements (RT60, NC level) and engineered a targeted ceiling absorption scheme combined with a multi-tap distributed ceiling loudspeaker system tuned via digital delay matrices.
System Scope
The Outcome
Reverberation time RT60 was optimized to 0.72s across mid-frequencies. Presenters can speak comfortably without raising their voices, and remote attendees report pristine broadcast-quality audio.
